Since we are in December and soon there will be the year end awards I was thinking back on wrestling this year. There are several contenders for wrestler of the year and tons of great matches. But when I think of best promos or segments I realized a lot of them have been about great heel turns this year.

It’s not unusual for there to be a lot of heel turns in a year but I thought 2019 had some really well done ones.

Does anyone have a favorite heel turn this year? Any I might be forgetting?

I mean MJF was always a heel, really. He was just working everybody.

I don’t think MJF counts he was a heel who was Cody’s friend. That’s like calling Finn a heel for hitting Adam Cole. I’m not sure Seth is even a heel yet

There was also the heel turn by kabuki warriors

I actually think that a majority of those heel turns have been flops. MJF I liked because it was teased for weeks and they didn’t pull the trigger immediately. But if I had to choose one I’d probably put Sasha Banks turn up there. Simple and violent.

Mostly because he got so physical with Shibata
With WK coming up - is there a match that could be make to create a wow factor more than Shibata coming back vs heel Kenta?
