The winner of the 2020 New Japan Cup was Bullet Club’s EVIL and he went on to capture the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championships from Tetsuya Naito.

Last week at Wrestle Kingdom 15, on night one, Kota Ibushi defeated Naito to win the double gold and successfully retained both titles on night two by defeating Jay White. Ibushi is scheduled to defend his titles at the conclusion of the New Beginning tour against 2019 New Japan Cup finalist SANADA.
