Wow, nice.
This was their big WrestleMania-esque September card from two years ago (before going to Alexandra Palace last September and Wembley Arena this year, a couple weeks from now). These marked the final regular PROGRESS appearances for Tommy End (Aleister Black), Tommaso Ciampa, and Jack Gallagher, and I remember the main event being really strong. This was shortly after I first got into watching PROGRESS, following a very good Super Strong Style 16 tournament and a bunch of other strong shows, the only blemish for me at the time being the William Eaver vs. Sebastian feud which got off to a bad start match-wise here.
They’ve now shared “Chase the Sun” which was last year’s Ally Pally show. I’m not sure what the thought process of sharing these big shows are outside of trying to temp last minute buys for Wembley.
