Roderick Strong arrived in late April.
The April 26th episode of AEW Dynamite featured the debut of Roderick Strong. Strong arrived to defend Adam Cole, Orange Cassidy and Bandido from an ambush from the Jericho Appreciation Society.
Strong has since made his in-ring debut for AEW in a tag match with Bandido, Cassidy and Cole. Cole expressed how excited he is about Strong joining the company as he spoke with Sports Guys Talking Wrestling.
Oh my God, I couldn’t be more excited (to have Roderick Strong in AEW). He’s one of my best friends in the entire world. He’s one of the best pound-for-pound in-ring pro wrestlers on the planet. To have Roddy Strong with us in AEW is not only a win for me but it’s a win for AEW.
Strong is scheduled for select independent dates including competing for Prestige Wrestling and facing ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey in July for The Wrestling REVOLVER.
