Cody and Spears felt disjointed.
Ladder match was insane.
Main event was just a victim of the insanity of the rest of the card which I’m not sure I mean as a compliment.
Main event outcome was predictable, because it was the right thing to do.
Normally, I’d be worried about how they’re booking Kenny, but I imagine he is the one calling the shots, so I’m interested to see where this goes
They’re called Creepers, not Creatures.
Then again, I would also call this an indy-riffic act in need of some retooling.
I enjoyed the show. Omega vs. PAC and the Ladder Match were my big highlights. Cody vs. Spears and Jericho vs. Page I thought were good matches that told good stories. I also loved the Arn spot and Orange Cassidy becoming a Best Friend.
Still not a fan of the Casino Battle Royale format, nor Joey Janela and Darby Allin becoming requisite death match guys when they’re both capable of more, especially Allin.
I can’t believe CM Punk didn’t show up. They had those stars on the poster God damn it! I am shocked. It’s not as if AEW would insinuate it just to trick their audience, they’re AEW, they’d never be shady. They’re probably foreshadowing his appearance at the next PPV. #SportsCentricAlternative #PeoplesPromotion
