The anniversary edition of AEW Collision led to the program registering its largest audience in four weeks.

The June 15 edition of Collision averaged 435,000 viewers and 171,000 (0.13) in the 18-49 demographic, according to Programming Insider and Wrestlenomics.

The audience reached its largest amount since May 18 while the 18-49 audience represented a three-week high for Collision.

Comparatively, viewership increased by 11 percent and the core demo audience improved by two percent from the prior week.

Collision aired against Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers, which averaged 3,085,000 million viewers and a 0.86 rating in the 18-49 demo on ABC. It also aired against U.S. Open Golf, which had 3,557,000 viewers and 0.57 in the demo on NBC. (Based on fast nationals from Programming Insider)

It’s worth adding that Collision has traditionally been hurt by airing several hours after an international WWE premium live event but didn’t appear to suffer by airing on the same day as Clash at the Castle.

Collision was headlined by the House of Black defeating Juice Robinson & The Gunns and opened with The BCC beating TMDK, Lio Rush & Rocky Romero among the featured matches.

The peak quarter was between 8:15 and 8:30 p.m. ET for the ending of the eight-man opener, videos featuring Rush and MJF, and The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn being interrupted by Brandon Cutler. The quarter-hour averaged 476,000 viewers and 195,000 in the 18-49 demographic, per Wrestlenomics.
