AEW was third for the night among cable originals behind the two NBA games on ESPN. Dynamite went head-to-head with the Brooklyn Nets vs. Memphis Grizzlies, which finished second on cable with 1,404,000 viewers and 0.49 in 18-49.
It was Dynamite’s best numbers since February 8th, which was the episode featuring Hangman Page’s championship defense against Lance Archer and the debut of Keith Lee.
The show was up five percent in overall viewership with a seven percent increase in the key demo from last week’s numbers.
Dynamite increased 22 percent in the 18-34 going from an average of 173,000 last week to 211,000 in the demo.

In Canada, the show averaged 149,200 viewers and 95,900 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2, which were up 15 and 22 percent respectively from last week. The show topped last Friday’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown, which averaged 146,800 and 70,400 in the 25-54 demo on Sportsnet 360.
The show was headlined by Chris Jericho & Daniel Garcia teaming against John Silver & Alex Reynolds along with Adam Cole vs. Jay Lethal for the first time in AEW, a Tornado Tag match that included The Hardys & Sting wrestling, and the show opened with CM Punk’s return as he took on Dax Harwood.
