One week after posting its lowest numbers of the year, AEW Dynamite experienced a major bounce back with this week’s episode.

The February 23rd episode from Bridgeport averaged 1,010,000 viewers and approximately 517,000 (0.40) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

The increases from last week saw overall viewership improve by 16 percent while the demo was up by 27 percent.

The numbers were aided by the recovery of its 18-34 audience, which grew from 111,000 to 173,000 this week or 56 percent, which a massive jump with women in the demo, per Thurston.

Females 18-49 grew by 44 percent this week while males in the demo saw a 20 percent increase.

The show was headlined by Bryan Danielson vs. Daniel Garcia, which was only announced shortly before the show. It also featured the tag team battle royal for a spot in the tag title match at Revolution and the House of Black vs. PAC & Penta El Zero Miedo among the matches advertised in advance.

In Canada, Dynamite averaged approximately 151,400 viewers and 90,900 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2.
