Originally published at AEW Dynamite ranks #6 against NBA, big drop among 35-49 audience
AEW Dynamite ranked sixth on cable with a small decrease from last week while All Access fell outside of the top fifty cable programs.
The show ranked sixth among cable originals behind back-to-back NBA play-in games on ESPN and the SportsCenter that followed it, along with Vanderpump Rules and Watch What Happens Live on Bravo.
Dynamite aired head-to-head with the Toronto Raptors vs. Chicago Bulls play-in game that averaged 2,183,000 viewers and 0.79 in the demo. Vanderpump Rules did 1.1 million viewers and 0.41 in the demo against the second hour of AEW.
This week’s Dynamite viewership dropped one percent while the 18-49 audience declined by seven percent.
In the 18-49 demographic, female viewership dropped by 11 percent (lowest since March 7) while males dropped by two percent.
Adults 18-34 grew by nine percent, which is a three-week high for that demographic.
Adults 35-49 decreased by 17 percent and this was a significant story this week as was AEW’s lowest 35-49 audience since launching on TBS in January 2022.
Adults 50+ grew by five percent.
In Canada, Dynamite averaged approximately 116,000 viewers and 62,000 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2, which was up 15 and nine percent respectively from last week.
The third episode of AEW All Access dropped to 281,000 viewers and 0.08 in the 18-49 demographic, and it ranked #51 among cable originals.
It was down 15 percent from last week’s viewership and fell from 0.11 to 0.08 in the demo rating with this being the least-watched episode of the three.
