AEW Dynamite drew its second-largest 18-49 audience of the year due to a big spike among young males this week.

The February 14 episode from Cedar Park, Texas averaged 811,000 viewers and 393,000 (0.30) in the 18-49 demographic, per Wrestlenomics. For the night, Dynamite ranked second on cable behind the NBA. 

The overall audience only grew 1% from last week but the 18-49 audience increased by 7%.

It was a two-week high for overall viewers and Dynamite’s second-largest 18-49 audience of the year behind the January 17 program.

The big performance was males 18-34, which averaged 127,000 viewers – an unusually high number for that demo – and was up 32% from last week.

Conversely, females in the 18-34 demo decreased from 64,000 to 54,000 viewers this week.,

Adults 35-49 averaged 212,000 viewers with males dropping by 12% and females increasing by 43% over last week.

After drawing its largest audience in Canada since last March, this week’s Dynamite fell with 116,200 viewers and 36,000 on TSN 2  in the 25-54 demographic, which represented decreases of 40% and 53% respectively from last week. It was Dynamite’s lowest audience in Canada since January 3. 

In Canada, Dynamite ranked fifth among sports programs and third in the 25-54 demo behind the San Jose Sharks vs. Winnipeg Jets and Toronto Raptors vs. Indiana Pacers.
