AEW Dynamite remained in a similar range from the previous week’s performances while posting a three-week high in its 18-49 audience.

The July 12 episode from Saskatoon averaged 825,000 viewers and 385,000 (0.29) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

Viewership was down by 4% from last week’s episode while the 18-49 audience was up by 1% and its highest since June 21.

Females in the key increased by 5% while males dropped by 6%.

Adults 18-34 were up by 20% this week due to men in the demo increasing by 30% (the largest male audience since June 7) with females decreasing by 2%.

Adults 35-49 dropped by 8% with an equal drop among males and females.

Wrestlenomics reports that the most-watched segment was the opening quarter featuring Chris Jericho vs. Komander at 896,000 viewers. In the key demo, the largest was the ending of MJF & Adam Cole vs. Brian Cage & Big Bill, and post-match promos at 427,000.  

The show averaged 134,200 viewers in Canada and 68,300 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2. Viewership rose by 52% and the demo grew by 30% from last week with Dynamite ranking third in viewership among sports programs on Wednesday behind coverage of the Calgary Stampede and Wimbledon. However, in the demo, Dynamite ranked first among sports.

It was the most-watched episode of Dynamite in Canada since June 7. 

Wednesday’s episode included two semi-final matches in the Blind Eliminator Tournament with MJF & Adam Cole featured in multiple segments, the debut of Nick Wayne, and announcements of the mystery participants for Blood & Guts.
