This week’s viewership figures saw AEW and NXT experience increases with the latter hitting its highest mark since mid-February.

AEW came out ahead with 772,000 viewers, which represents a 14% increase and finished eighth for the night on cable with 0.28 in the 18-49 demo, up 22% this week.

NXT had a strong showing with 746,000 viewers, their highest since February 19th and 0.20 in the 18-49 demo. They increased 11% in viewers and 25% in the key demo.

For AEW, they saw big rebounds with females 18-49 up 40% from last week, adults 18-34 increased by 30%, but the largest was among females 12-34 that went from 0.06 to 0.10 or 66%.

NXT saw growth in the same females 12-34 demo up 75% this week to 0.07, females 18-49 were up 33%, and adults 25-54 improved by 20%.

AEW won all the key demos except adults over 50, which both sides were flat compared to last week with NXT at 0.36 to AEW’s 0.31.

For both shows among the key demos, no category dropped this week, which is rare but is coming off last week’s disappointing figures for both programs.

Boy these ratings from week to week are unpredictable.

Weeks you think will do well don’t and vice versa

That is because ratings have way less to do with the current show (unless lots was advertised) and more to do with the previous show. A bad show could have good ratings and vice versa.
