AEW Rampage aired outside of its timeslot this past Friday and finished eleventh on cable for the night while posting its lowest figures of the year.

The February 18th edition of the show averaged 471,000 viewers and approximately 261,000 (0.20) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

The drop, which was expected, given the earlier airing of 7 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. Pacific was 14 percent in overall viewership yet gained 5 percent in the 18-49 demo from the prior week.

Rampage lost 18 percent among its 18-34 audience while adults 35-49 grew by 16 percent, which are interesting stats with the earlier airing.

The key reason for the viewership drop was Rampage’s 50+ audience that saw the rating decline 33 percent from 0.24 to 0.16 this week. Excluding the New Year’s Eve episode, it was the lowest 50+ audience in the history of Rampage.

In females 18-49, the rating grew from 0.11 to 0.13.

The show was moved to 7 p.m. ET to accommodate TNT’s coverage of the NBA All-Star Weekend. Despite airing earlier, Rampage still went against ESPN’s coverage of the NBA, which was #1 on cable on Friday with 1,290,000 viewers and 0.52 in 18-49

Rampage was taped last week in Nashville and featured Jay White’s first match inside of an AEW ring against Trent Beretta, as well as Adam Cole taking on Preston Vance of the Dark Order, a Face of the Revolution qualifying match between Powerhouse Hobbs and Dante Martin, and Serena Deeb’s five-minute “rookie challenge”.
