AEW Rampage fell to the second-lowest mark of its run for the live episode from Minneapolis on the eve of the pay-per-view.
The November 12th live edition of Rampage from the Target Center dropped to 515,000 and approximately 263,000 (0.20) in the 18-49 demographic according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.
The show fell 14 percent in viewers and 10 percent in 18-49 while finishing #13 among cable originals.
It was the second-lowest figure in the history of Rampage behind the October 8th episode, which did 501,000 and 222,000 in 18-49.
The demographics were all over the place but the major losses were among Males 18-49 declining by 21 percent.
Adults 18-34 grew by 23 percent this week with a larger uptick among women in that demo than men.
AEW’s female viewership saw an increase by 27 percent in Females 18-49 and Females 12-34 jumped from 0.06 to 0.11 this week.
The older audiences were hurt with 25-54s falling by 18.5 percent and 50+ dropping by 12.5 percent. According to Thurston, Adults 35-49 declined by 26 percent with the entire decline seen among males in that demo while females were identical to the previous week’s figure.
The show went against the Chicago Bulls vs. Golden State Warriors game that topped the cable chart for Friday with 1,983,000 viewers and 0.68 in 18-49. There was additional sports competition from the World Cup Qualifying match between the U.S. and Mexico that finished second with 1,315,000 viewers and 0.47 in 18-49 on ESPN2.
Rampage was live on the night before the Full Gear pay-per-view and featured a Lumberjack Match between Matt Hardy and Orange Cassidy in the main event.
Over the past four weeks, Rampage is averaging 567,500 viewers and 291,000 in 18-49.
The Countdown to AEW Full Gear aired on TNT immediately after Rampage and averaged 292,000 viewers and 0.10 in 18-49. It was down from the last countdown special before All Out in September that did 361,000 viewers and 0.18 in the key demo.
