The Acclaimed defeated Private Party and The Butcher & The Blade to retain the Tag Team Championships.
The Firm was interviewed backstage with The Gunn Club saying they were going to leap-frog everyone and go for the tag team titles.
A Jade Cargill promo was interrupted by Nyla Rose, Marina Shafir and Vickie Guerrero. Jade accepted a challenge from Rose but said it would be on her terms.
The Firm’s Lee Moriarty defeated Fuego Del Sol in less than two minutes. After the match, Morrissey choke slammed Fuego.
Andrade approached Preston Vance challenging him to a match next week on Rampage. If Andrade wins, Preston gives up his mask. If Preston wins, Andrade leaves AEW for good. Before the segment was over, Ethan Page and Stokely Hathaway confronted Andrade saying that Matt Hardy was “contract tampering” with Private Party.
Jamie Hayter defeated Willow Nightingale with a short arm lariat.
A “WarJoe” promo package aired highlighting the team of Samoa Joe and Wardlow.
Ryan Nemeth was in the ring running down Philadelphia when Hook interrupted. Hook dismantled Nemeth with his music still playing, Gangstas style. Afterwards The Trustbusters’ Jeeves Kay, Sonny Kiss and Ari Daivari presented Hook an envelope which he took and walked off.
A video package aired showing Swerve Strickland attending Rolling Loud Festival. The commentators mentioned that it was a welcomed distraction and Swerve is still furious about Billy Gunn’s actions at Grand Slam.
Another promo package aired highlighting the upcoming October 18th World Title match between Jon Moxley and Hangman Adam Page. At the end of the promo, someone off camera reminded Page that the match would be in Cincinnati and Hangman simply responded “oh sh*t”.
Rush defeated John Silver in the main event. After the match a melee ensued – ending with Hangman Adam Page hitting the Buckshot Lariat on Jose the Assistant.
