Private Party vs. Top Flight

Rampage began with Private Party taking on Top Flight and the announcers explaining that last time out, Private Party used the ropes to gain the pinfall even though Quen & Kassidy claimed that it was just an accident. Early in the match, Isiah Kassidy took a giant foam crown from a fan in the crowd and then wrestled the next few minutes with it on.

Quen then attempted a pinfall while holding the ropes and Action Andretti caught him and stopped it. Quen then hit a shooting star press with incredible height. Top Flight picked up the win after throwing Kassidy to the outside and pinning Quen.

After the match, Top Flight offered to shake Private Party’s hands but they didn’t accept.

Sammy Returns

Renee Paquette interviewed Sammy Guevara backstage and talked about his new daughter depending on him and that championships mean better lives for him and his family. He said he is medically cleared and challenged Powerhouse Hobbs, saying he’s coming for him.

Jarrett & Co.

The team argued and Karen Jarrett said she narrowed down the team names and set up a photo shoot for next week. Jeff Jarrett then said that Jay Lethal is too nice and he’s running things next week.

Eliminator Match

Next up, AEW Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks and Big Bill took on Dark Order’s John Silver & Alex Reynolds with Darby Allin on commentary. At one point in the match, Evil Uno distracted the referee and allowed Dark Order to gain the advantage. The finish saw Ricky Starks hitting the Rochambeau for the victory.

Willow vs. Queen

The next match was Willow Nightingale accompanied by Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway taking on Queen Aminata. Willow defeated the Queen with the Doctor Bomb in just under eight minutes. After the match, Willow and Statlander forced Stokely (or “Stooly”) to dance.

Orange Cassidy asked for time so that Roderick Strong and the UK would interrupt them. This set up Strong/Taven/Bennett vs. Cassidy/Beretta/Romero next week on Rampage.

In the main event, CMLL’s Mistico, Hechicero, Volador Jr., and Mascara Dorada took on Daddy Magic, Cool Hand Ang, Matt Sydal, and Christopher Daniels. Hechicero picked up the pinfall on Christopher Daniels as he goes on to face Bryan Danielson tomorrow night on Collision.
