TNT Championship

Rampage kicked off with Trent Beretta challenging Christian Cage for the TNT Championship. Earlier in the night on Collision, Beretta defeated Penta El Zero Miedo, Komander, and Brian Cage to win his spot in this match. Trent Beretta put up a good fight but Christian was able to win thanks to focusing on Beretta’s neck and hitting the Killswitch, referencing his Collision promo about breaking Adam Copeland’s neck.

How did Christian Cage kick out of that?

Toni Storm vs. Emi Sakura

Toni Storm attempted to give Emi Sakura a script for the match much like she had previously and Sakura ripped it up, also prompting Tony Schiavone to say “Scripts never worked in wrestling”. Toni Storm picked up the win with the Hip Attack and Storm Zero.

Eddie Kingston & Jay Lethal Promo

Jay Lethal confirmed that tomorrow night at Full Gear Zero Hour it would be him and Eddie Kingston for the ROH World Championship. After Jay and Eddie argued, Eddie turned around and found Ortiz as the show went to break.

Roderick Strong vs. Action Andretti

This match went back and forth until a scary-looking spot where Action Andretti attempted a Spanish Fly but landed Strong right on his head/neck area. After a minute or so pause, Strong was able to continue and finish the match. Here’s to hoping he’s truly okay because he looked like he had trouble getting back into the wheelchair as the segment ended.

Jay White Promo & Brawl

Jay White’s sit-down was interrupted by MJF as he attempted again to get his Championship belt back, leading to MJF hitting Juice Robinson with a TV and finally MJF and Jay White spilling into the ring. MJF got his belt back a second time before Jay White and The Gunns were able to pry it away from him. That prompted Samoa Joe to come out and run off Bullet Club Gold. With that, MJF shook Samoa Joe’s hand and it became official that Joe and MJF would take on The Gunns for the ROH Tag Team Championships at Full Gear tomorrow night.
