The first of two title matches that took place on the March 15th episode of Raw was for the Raw Tag Team Championships. New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) challenged Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander for the titles and at the conclusion of the bout, it was Woods and Kingston executing a series of maneuvers and capping it off with the “Day Break” to win the Raw Tag Team Titles.

Benjamin and Alexander first captured the titles at the TLC pay-per-view in December and after a four-month run, New Day ended their reign. Following the match, the new champions were confronted by AJ Styles and Omos who issued a challenge for WrestleMania and that was made official.
