Jose A. Rodriguez Chucuan, better known under his aliases of ‘Alberto Del Rio’ and ‘Alberto El Patron’ was arrested this past week and facing charges of sexual assault.
News 4 San Antonio reports that Rodriguez was arrested after a woman came forward with photographs and alleged that he attacked her and sexually assaulted her.
The woman also provided an affidavit going through the details for authorities. This included an allegation of threatening to take the woman’s son and “drop him in the middle of the road somewhere.”
The Bexar County records show that Rodriguez Chucuan was arrested on Saturday at 11 am local time and lists the offense of sexual assault, which is a 2nd-degree felony. His bond was set at $50,000.
I never liked him during his WWE run, and I hope he goes to jail for a loooong time! Del Rio strikes me as an extremely questionable character (especially with how fucked up his relationship with Paige seemed to be), so I don’t doubt this poor woman’s story.
I don’t know that bond amount seems low for what he seems to have did as well. Maybe criminal sexual assault isn’t taken as seriously in Texas as it is in other states, but I thought Texas was normally tough on crime?
Really makes you wonder about the Cody Barberiri and Paige assaulting him stories doesn’t it. if he is guilty I hope they lock him up. Those allegations are disgusting
