Hammerstone is looking to exit MLW.

Taking to his X account, Alex Hammerstone confirmed a report from Fightful Select that he requested his release from Major League Wrestling.

He noted that he’s proud of what him and the organization accomplished and wished them continued success. He went on to thank MLW CEO Court Bauer for the opportunities.

My time with @MLW was 5 of the best years of my life and career. Very proud of what I and the company accomplished. I wish them continued success.

I have recently asked for my release as I feel it’s what’s right for me at this time.

Thank you @courtbauer for the opportunities.

Hammerstone is a former MLW National Openweight and World Heavyweight Champion. He was the organization’s first National Openweight Champion and held the title from June 2019 through October 2021 before vacating the championship

He last wrestled for MLW at their Never Say Never event in July where he dropped the World Heavyweight Title to Alex Kane.

If AEW can reform The Dynasty as baby faces to take on Cole/Strong/Kingdom I think that could be big.
