The National Openweight Title is now vacant.

At MLW’s Fightland event, Alex Hammerstone ended Jacob Fatu’s reign as MLW World Heavyweight Champion. With his win, Hammerstone was able to win a title and hold onto his National Openweight belt that he was the first and only holder of.

On the 10/13 edition of MLW FUSION, Hammerstone approached Cesar Duran and relinquished the National Championship. He said that he wants talents to be able to have the same opportunity he did and then handed over the belt.
