Alex Reynolds provides an update on his health after incident on AEW Dynamite

Alex Reynolds and John Silver, The Young Bucks, Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy) along with The Butcher and The Blade closed the 10/21 episode of AEW Dynamite with a four-way tag to determine the challengers to the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Full Gear. During the match, Private Party hit a leg drop/splash combo onto Reynolds and he was knocked out by way of the move. Reynolds remained in the center of the ring for a period of time until he was dragged to the corner by The Blade.

Reynolds was still in the ring as the action continued and referee Rick Knox did not appear to check on Reynolds who was laying by the corner. Reynolds took to social media today and provided an update on how he’s doing:

Hey guys, just wanted to thank you for all the concerns for my health. It means the world to me. I truly believe the ref and our doctor handled the situation great on Wednesdays show. Injuries happen in wrestling, but I feel completely safe with our team here. Thanks again and I’m looking forward to seeing you soon.

There is a video of Alex Reynolds walking away after the show so that’s good, but man this was scary to watch

The winners of the match were The Young Bucks and they are now set to face FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) at Full Gear. To get a look at the updated match card for the pay-per-view, click here.

I watched this live and didn’t even notice a lifeless body laying in the ring for a couple minutes. Watching it back, man how did I not see this. Pretty crazy stuff and I’m happy he’s ok.
