Originally published at Alex Zayne wins 16-man Honor Rumble at Death Before Dishonor
Alex Zayne appeared on Sunday night’s ROH Death Before Dishonor card as a surprise entrant and winning the Honor Rumble match.
Zayne was the final entrant and showcased his aerial skills through the end of the match where the final elimination was PJ Black.
The win provides Zayne a future ROH Championship shot on ROH television.
The announcers noted that Zayne had wrestled previously for ROH in early 2020 including a win over current ROH Champion Bandido.
Zayne joined WWE in late 2020 and wrestled as Ari Sterling, primarily on 205 Live, and was released last month amidst a slew of cuts.
