Changes made to SmackDown’s Survivor Series teams.

WWE is inching closer to their Survivor Series event on November 21st which is taking place at the Barclays Center. This past week, they announced the teams for the traditional 5-on-5 elimination matches. Both Sami Zayn and Aliyah were a part of the men’s and women’s teams respectively but during tonight’s SmackDown, both talents were removed.

Aliyah got her first win on the main roster when she pinned Natalya as a part of a six-woman tag. Aliyah teamed with Sasha Banks and Naomi to take on Natalya, Shotzi and Shayna Baszler. Sonya Deville later approached Aliyah and because of Naomi helping Aliyah get the victory, Deville removed her from the team.

Sami Zayn and Jeff Hardy were both on the SmackDown men’s Survivor Series team but during their match on the 11/12 show, the stipulation was that the loser would be removed and Zayn lost.

POST Wrestling will be recapping tonight’s SmackDown along with AEW Rampage for Café patrons.
