It was announced on Thursday that all charges against Rich Swann have been dropped due to “insufficient evidence”.
Swann was arrested by the Gainesville Police Department in Florida on December 10th and charged with false imprisonment/kidnapping and a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.
A report was filed with an alleged incident involving Swann arguing with his wife Vannarah Riggs (who wrestles as Su Yung) and further allegations that he grabbed her in the street and forced her into their car as she was screaming.
This led to World Wrestling Entertainment issuing Swann an indefinite suspension while the investigation was ongoing.
POST Wrestling has reached out to the WWE to confirm Swann’s status with the company following Thursday’s ruling.
