After three decades, he’ll be wrapping up with the company.
All Japan Pro Wrestling confirmed a Tokyo Sports report that Fumihito Kihara is going to be leaving the company at the end of December. His contract with AJPW is set to expire on 12/31.
Kihara first joined All Japan in 1987 and has served as their ring announcer since 1989. After a total of 36 years with the company, he is choosing to step away.
In their post about his pending exit, AJPW wished Kihara well going forward. Kihara began his in-ring career in 2004. He wrestled once for All Japan in 2019 and his last match was in December 2020 at an independent show in Japan.
In addition to Kihara, Takao Omori is finishing up with AJPW as his contract is expiring. His final match will be on 12/31.
