The WrestleMania 36 card has undergone several changes this week including several that were reported on Friday.
Mike Johnson at PWinsider.com reported that both The Miz and Andrade would not be wrestling at WrestleMania, which was taped on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
It was first noted by Dave Meltzer at the Wrestling Observer that The Miz was sick this past week before Johnson reported on his status and being off the card.
Andrade suffered an injury, which was described to us as ‘very minor’ but that he would not be cleared within a few days, so he was replaced in the Raw tag title match at WrestleMania.
An angle was shot where NXT’s Austin Theory is introduced as the replacement to team with Angel Garza against Raw tag team champions The Street Profits.
It is expected that the angle will run on Monday’s episode of Raw leading into WrestleMania the following weekend.
