Arn is wrapping up with AEW.

Episode #242 of the ARN podcast was a Q&A edition of the show. Arn Anderson revealed that his contract with AEW expires on May 31st and he’ll be finishing up with the company.

He expressed his gratitude to company President Tony Khan and talked about the impact that Khan has had on he wrestling business. Anderson has been a part of AEW since 2019.

Elsewhere during the podcast, Anderson stated that he and Brock Anderson are booked with the North Carolina-based promotion, AML Wrestling, once a month through the end of 2024.

During the summer of 2023, Cody Rhodes stated that he would ‘move mountains’ for Arn Anderson to come to his aid one more time. He also stated during an appearance on Busted Open that he could be looking for that ‘classic wrestling manager.’

Too bad. Always enjoyed his promos and his presence on AEW. He should have been attached to someone else but just hasn’t been used much since Cody left

I always remember John being baffled as to why WWE never used Arn Anderson as a mouth piece/manager for a talent while he was working there. The same could really be said for AEW. Yes he was with Cody, but after Cody left he was floundering with his son, Brock and Wardlow.

Too bad.

With the Cody connection I would not at all be surprised to see Arn on Smackdown sooner or later to give Cody a pep talk. Or get attacked by Solo or Randy in the future to create some drama in the buildup for a Cody match.

If Arn pops up in WWE again, he might be asked to leave his glock at home.

His partnership with Wardlow slipped my mind. I thought that could have gone farther.

The Wardlow thing was a total waste. Shit creative has completely killed Wardlow. He also needs to get out of AEW ASAP

Do we know if Arn still has alcohol issues? Could be lots of reasons they didn’t use him.

I think with MJF back Wardlow is a natural foil

I’d rather keep MJF away from the disaster that is Undisputed Kingdom. He doesn’t need to be wasting his time with them
