I would like to thank @johnpollock & @wai0937 for patiently answering my deluge of questions regarding Hulk Hogan & the AWA in the early 1980s.

I had never before heard about the role AJPW vs NJPW played in Gagne’s decision to not put the title on Hogan. As ever, John provided great insight and answered my questions quickly and succinctly. I am very grateful to have access to this amazing font of wrestling knowledge once a month.

I always enjoy these shows since joining the Cafe.
