The WWE Championship will be defended at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on February 21st and as of this writing, it’s one of two title matches on the show as WWE announced that Asuka is putting her Raw Women’s Title on the line against Lacey Evans at the event.

Lacey went one-on-one with Charlotte Flair on Raw and prior to their match, Lacey told Charlotte that because of Ric Flair speaking to company officials, whoever won their match was next in line to challenge Asuka. During the match, Charlotte backed Evans into a corner and continued throwing forearms after the referee attempted to pull her off which got Flair disqualified.

Asuka’s last title defense took place on the 1/25 episode of Raw against Alexa Bliss and it ended in a no-contest.

Also, Lacey Evans played a role in Asuka and Charlotte losing the Women’s Tag Team Titles at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

Here’s the lineup for Elimination Chamber:

  • WWE Championship — Elimination Chamber Match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Sheamus vs. AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy vs. The Miz
