Aussie Open increased its lead in New Japan’s World Tag League with their latest victory on Monday.

At Karatsu Athletic Stadium, Mark Davis & Kyle Davis defeated Aaron Henare & Great O-Khan after hitting Corealis on Henare and improving their record to 7-1 with fourteen points.

Aussie Open has a four-point lead above Tetsuya Naito & SANADA, Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI, and TMDK at ten points.

Aussie Open has one more round-robin match against TMDK this Friday. The point leaders suffered their only loss to Naito & SANADA in the World Tag League.

On Monday’s card, TMDK lost to Hiroshi Tanahashi & Toru Yano in the main event as Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste’s record falls to 5-2 while Tanahashi & Yano improve to 4-3.

Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI defeated Suzuki-gun’s Minoru Suzuki & Lance Archer as Bishamon moved up to ten points and tied for second place.

Alex Coughlin & Gabriel Kidd earned their first win of the Tag League by beating EVIL & Yujiro with both teams coming out of Monday’s show with 1-6 records and two points each.

The World Tag League continues Friday in Kochi with Bishamon vs. Alex Coughlin & Gabriel Kidd, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Toru Yano vs. EVIL & Yujiro, Aussie Open vs. TMDK, and Tetsuya Naito & SANADA vs. Minoru Suzuki & Lance Archer.
