Lynch agrees to defend the title against Lita.
Closing out the 1/31 episode of Raw was an appearance from 2022 women’s Royal Rumble winner Ronda Rousey. Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch came out to the ring to find out who Ronda would be challenging at WrestleMania 38 and Ronda stated that Lynch will find out on Friday Night SmackDown.
As Ronda exited camera’s view, Lita appeared and issued a challenge to Becky Lynch for a Raw Women’s Title match at the Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia. Lynch initially declined, but when Lita mentioned that Lynch was scared, the challenge was accepted.
