Big Swole announces her departure from All Elite Wrestling.

After almost two full years with All Elite Wrestling, Aerial Hull (Big Swole) announced that she is departing the company. Swole’s AEW signing was formally announced in December of 2019 and as of late, she had been competing on the Dark and Dark: Elevation programs. Swole’s last match on Dynamite was in December of 2020.

She posted a statement on Twitter about her exit. She spoke with Tony Khan and AEW officials and they decided to not renew her contract. She noted that it was a hard decision but one that needed to happen. She wished the company well going forward.

Swole is coming up on eight years in the wrestling business. Prior to joining AEW, she was regular for the RISE and SHINE promotions. In 2018, Swole, under the name ‘Ariel Monroe’ competed in the WWE Mae Young Classic tournament.

That’s too bad, but I’m sure she can land on her feet elsewhere.

She’s gone by Ariel Monroe multiple places prior to joining AEW.
