Days before the WWE’s return to Saudi Arabia, Bill Goldberg will be appearing on SmackDown in his lone appearance prior to the match against The Undertaker.

The company announced that Goldberg will be on Tuesday’s show from Laredo, Texas one night after The Undertaker is scheduled to appear on Raw from Austin.

Their first singles match was announced for the Super Showdown event that takes place from the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah. It is their first match together, although both appeared in the 2017 Royal Rumble match together.

Goldberg’s last match for WWE took place at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando in April 2017, where he lost to the Universal title to Brock Lesnar. After a farewell speech on Raw the next night, he was the headliner for the 2018 Hall of Fame induction ceremony in New Orleans, Louisiana.

I was so hyped for the Saudi show but now with Corbin vs Seth it’s come down a notch. Unless Brock cashes in which he might like Seth did on him.

UT vs Goldberg is a dream match that we never got to see. Should be short and sweet and a pure mark out moment.

Goldberg vs Undertaker would be a pure mark out moment if it was happening 15-20 years ago. We’re getting a one week TV build to it too. It’s clear both parties are in it solely for the money.
