Booker T makes the media rounds to promote his radio show on ESPN.

The news was recently made public that Booker T and Brad Gilmore’s ‘Hall of Fame’ show has expanded to four nights a week on ESPN Radio. ‘CultureMap Houston’ spoke to Booker and Gilmore about the success of their show and got their thoughts on events relating to the current wrestling landscape.

Back in 2019, Booker told the same outlet that his contract with WWE runs through 2029 and in this new interview, he stated that the deal is not up for another several years.

My relationship with the company has never been better. My contract with them isn’t up for another several years. I’m still around doing the kickoff shows for all the premium events on Peacock. I sometimes host RAW Talk and Talking Smack and WWE has me involved with several other projects.

Booker has wrestled sporadically over the past several years for his Reality of Wrestling promotion. He feels that he’ll never be done performing in the ring and every time he gets the chance to do it, he’ll take it.

I’ll never be done wrestling. I’ll be doing this until I can’t move my legs anymore. Wrestlers never retire. If I get a chance to bounce around the ring like a kid one more time, I’ll take that opportunity every time. I won’t be retired from the squared circle until I’m six feet under.

Last month, Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Booker joked that their booking rates have gone up, but said it’s awesome that WWE presented her with that honor.

I can tell you that our price for bookings has definitely gone up! But my wife has always been my queen, whether she was in the WWE Hall of Fame or not. But I will say, it’s pretty awesome they inducted her. We are a Hall of Fame family!

In early April, as a part of the week of wrestling in Dallas, Texas, Booker was supposed to team up with Rob Van Dam at his Reality of Wrestling promotion but the promotion’s events were postponed.
