Brian Kendrick has been pulled from tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite after past comments surfaced on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, a pair of interviews involving Kendrick from 2011 and 2013 surfaced that dealt with conspiracy theories. Specifically, he shared his troubling viewpoints on the Holocaust and the murders at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Just an hour before showtime, AEW president Tony Khan issued a statement condemning the statements made by Kendrick in the past and calling them ‘abhorrent and offensive’.

Khan announced Kendrick would not be on tonight’s show, where he was scheduled to face Jon Moxley. The new opponent for Moxley will be Wheeler Yuta.

We’ve been made aware of abhorrent & offensive comments made in the past by Brian Kendrick. There’s no room in AEW for the views expressed by Brian. We think it’s best for all that Brian be pulled from tonight’s card as we gather more info. We’ll announce a replacement bout ASAP.
