Lesnar is off the cover.

A special edition of the WWE 2K24 video game features the ’40 Years of WrestleMania’ cover. In the original promotional material, Brock Lesnar was on the cover and positioned alongside The Undertaker and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

Following Janel Grant’s sex trafficking lawsuit that she filed against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis and WWE, Lesnar was pulled from the WWE SuperCard mobile game as he was tied to McMahon in the suit. Lesnar has now been removed from the WWE 2K24 cover and John Cena, who was positioned underneath Lesnar, was moved into the spot with Undertaker and Johnson.

It was noted in Wall Street Journal’s reporting that in the suit, Vince McMahon instructed Grant to create sexual content for Lesnar. When Lesnar agreed to a new WWE contract, McMahon told Grant that part of the agreement was that Lesnar got to have sex with her. The suit notes that Lesnar attempted to set up a meeting between himself and Grant and also requested her to send a video of herself urinating.

PWInsider reported on February 1st that the public should expect Lesnar to be downplayed by WWE 2K going forward.

POST Wrestling’s own John Pollock reported that Lesnar was scheduled to return to WWE at the Royal Rumble, but plans were altered in wake of the sex trafficking lawsuit that his name is connected to.
