Following his appearance at Hell in a Cell, Brock Lesnar is scheduled for another match with the WWE and will take place later this year.
The plan is for Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Brock Lesnar to have a triple threat match at the next event in Saudi Arabia. News of the match was first reported by Dave Meltzer at the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and was independently confirmed by POST Wrestling.
The match could be announced as early as tonight and would be the first announcement from the WWE of the Saudi Arabia card. The event is reported to be taking place Friday, November 2nd.
The card from Saudi Arabia is scheduled to air on the WWE Network.
They could have had Lesnar interfere to set up a triple threat (which was already set up after Summerslam) and also had a winner at Hell in a Cell so it didn’t end on such a sour note.
Anyone who thought Braun/Reigns was ending in nothing but fuckery, must not take into account that Lesnar might not even be available for Mania if/when he gets fucked up by Cormier.
Reigns wins clean, complain.
Braun wins, you have a guy not ready for that spot. Take into account that Reigns moves the most merch units, Braun has his own and not there. Don’t equate chants to being over. You can’t collect money from chants.
I was listening to a podcast (though I can’t recall which) and they talked about Roman’s push. One thing that really rang true to me and changed my perspective was when the guest talked about kids being able to pick him out of a crowd and not really have a huge interest in wrestling accept for him, and dropping his kid off at school and seeing nothing but Roman Reigns gear.
WWE looks at merch sales, they do listen to fans but not in the way many want them to.
