Queen Zelina and Carmella are the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

The reign of Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions came to an end on the 11/22 Monday Night Raw when they lost the titles to Queen Zelina and Carmella.

Carmella and Zelina are the eighth team to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. This is Zelina’s first title win in WWE and this accolade joins Carmella’s SmackDown Women’s and WWE 24/7 Title reigns along with her Money In The Bank win.

I checked on this, and it was a little over a year ago when Zelina Vega was released from WWE, then followed up by tweeting support for unionization.

Now she’s the Queen and one of the tag champs.

Both of which mean nothing. This was probably used as a “sorry” for taking away her match on 9/11.

Women’s tag titles in WWE/NXT are worthless. They don’t have the depth to have one set of tag titles, let alone two. Only Impact has done an okay-ish job with women’s tag belts

I wasn’t propping up either thing that much, or at least didn’tmean to. Just saying Vega was gone initially and angry towards the company, only to come back and accept their minor accomplishments. Good point on the 9/11 match though.
