On Monday’s episode of Raw, Charlotte Flair came out teasing her announcement for which champion she would challenge at WrestleMania 36.
Flair was interrupted by NXT women’s champion Rhea Ripley, who got a good reaction from the audience in Salt Lake City. Ripley brought up that Flair has already defeated champions Becky Lynch and Bayley but has never defeated her and issued a challenge for WrestleMania.
Ripley added that she holds a victory over Flair, which was a reference to a triple threat match on the November 22nd edition of Friday Night SmackDown from Chicago where Ripley used a crucifix to pin Flair while she had the Figure 8 applied to Banks.
Flair did not give an answer to Ripley and exited the ring to the back.
Later in the show, they announced that Flair will appear on Wednesday’s edition of NXT to give her an answer regarding a match between the two for WrestleMania 36.
