‘The Fallen Angel’ is back in IMPACT Wrestling.

Closing tonight’s episode of IMPACT on AXS was a singles match between Josh Alexander and Ace Austin. Austin along with Madman Fulton had already taken out IMPACT World Champion Christian Cage. Coming to Alexander’s aid was former 4-time X Division Champion Christopher Daniels.

Daniels currently works with All Elite Wrestling in the Talent Relations department. Daniels was last in action for AEW in May when he and Frankie Kazarian unsuccessfully challenged The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) for the AEW World Tag Titles. The stipulation going into the bout was that if Kazarian and Daniels lost, they would go their separate ways.

It was in 2014 that Daniels was last in IMPACT Wrestling. He and Kazarian both made the transition over to Ring of Honor and Daniels went on to capture the ROH World Championship.

There was word that Daniels would be coming over to help out with some of the backstage work that was done by the now-suspended Tommy Dreamer. Not sure if he’s doing stuff both inside and outside the ring.
