I must admit the man has a point …
…so why do you watch RAW when it’s so bad just to complain? Wouldn’t you be happier if you didn’t like he says? I know I’ve stopped Raw and never felt better!

Look at the recent numbers… people are leaving
But you do have to watch it to be able to say that it’s bad. The last episode raw was the best I’ve watched in a very long time. I like being pleasantly surprised.
I stopped watching Raw/Smackdown a year ago and yeah, it literally made me happier. Recently i stopped even reading and listening to catch ups and results - i only listen to the beginning of John & Wai’s WWE shows for general wrestling news and discussion now…and i’m even happier. It’s a weight off my shoulders not making myself annoyed and disappointed every week - the worst part was expecting the worst from WWE every week and usually getting it.
I watch highlights for everything except NXT. I don’t have the desire or time to watch 5 hours of wrestling. Highlights are usually around an hour for both shows combined.
This reminds me of a mad tv sketch
I agree that he has a point, but one of the main aspects of wrestling that has kept me watching for so long is it’s a variety show. I don’t like the majority of the WWE product, but there’s still usually a segment or two every week I can be entertained by. Right now, I’m digging what they are doing with the 24/7 title getting low carders into a recurring storyline, and the Firefly Funhouse intrigues me.
I also think that there has been worst times in my opinion for WWE (mid-90s and late 2000s) and that everyone has delved a little too deep into the dirt sheets and being a smart fan (myself included). I watched an NXT UK episode this week for the first time with zero context of what is going on and no dirt sheet knowledge of most of the wrestlers and actually enjoyed it a lot watching it without a total smart mark eye.
The talent is there and people are watching in hope that the talent gets used correctly. The people watching are also wrestling fans and alternatives aren’t as easy to follow as the coverage is miniscule in comparison.
Yes, after 398 bad raws, it’s impossible to have high expectations, obviously. But I did enjoy the pacing of the last episode.
