The Costco Guys A.J. (Andrew Befumo Jr.) and his son Big Justice appeared on-screen for AEW at their 2024 All Out pay-per-view.
Taking to their Instagram page, A.J. revealed that he’s signed a contract and will be returning to in-ring competition for one match. He added that the match will be for All Elite Wrestling.
He does not know when it’ll happen or who his opponent will be, but stated that him and Big Justice are All Elite.
So to be clear - the guy was an indie wrestler for years in the NJ scene. And then, for some reason, he seems to have become popular with his son doing Costco food reviews on TikTok or… something?
Here’s his cagematch profile:
My guess is this is something that happens on the Buy In at Full Gear in New Jersey.
Anyway… Let’s not act like AEW wasn’t giving random online personalities since day one. Fyter Fest 2019 pre-show says hello.
Just to iterate, when companies do this and you don’t know who these influencers are then they are not collaborations aimed at you. I don’t get it either, but this kid has almost 2 million followers on TikTok
I understand that. I don’t care. I remember fyter fest @MarkP.
But I’m not sure what ends they’ll actually achieve. I understand what they’re trying to do and who this is for. Goodness me. You guys are something else…
Jeez, guys relax. . His gimmick is something to do with Costco. I’d applaude if they got Sexxy Red or some one with real cache. Not some old indie guy with a Costco influencer gimmick or a video game developer.
