The scheduled main event for UFC Vegas 15 has been cancelled, as first reported by ESPN’s Ariel Helwani. Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis were going to headline the show in a heavyweight clash but Blaydes tested positive for COVID-19 and the fight is now off. Helwani added that UFC is hoping to reschedule the fight for December but the deal is not finalized yet.

Curtis Blaydes vs. Derrick Lewis — tomorrow night’s UFC main event — has been canceled, per multiple sources. Blaydes has tested positive for COVID.

The promotion is hoping to reschedule the fight in December, sources say, though that isn’t a done deal just yet.

The (14-2-0) Curtis Blaydes and the (24-7-0) Derrick Lewis were coming into the fight on winning streaks as both men have won their last two fights.
