Due to interference from WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP last week, Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston went one-on-one once again and this go-around, Lashley and MVP were banned from ringside. The winner of their match would earn a shot at the WWE Title at Hell In A Cell on June 20th.

The conclusion of the bout saw Kofi come off the top rope and he jumped into a Claymore from McIntyre which secured McIntyre the win. It will be Bobby Lashley defending the WWE Title against Drew at the next pay-per-view.

This will be the third time that McIntyre and Lashley have wrestled each other one-on-one this year. The first occasion was at WrestleMania 37 where Lashley retained and they met once more on an episode of Raw in May. McIntyre beat Lashley by way of disqualification.

With the WWE Championship match being made official for Hell In A Cell, here’s the updated card:

  • Raw Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
  • WWE Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) (w/ MVP) vs. Drew McIntyre
