Drew McIntyre will not be wrestling on Friday Night SmackDown due to a medical issue.
After it was announced that McIntyre & Sheamus would challenge for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship this Friday, McIntyre provided the following update:
Unfortunately I am medically disqualified to compete this Friday on #Smackdown
I don’t like to miss any shows as everybody knows but I promise I’ll be back soon

McIntyre did not elaborate on why he is medically disqualified and did not appear on this past Friday’s episode. He last wrestled in the WarGames last week at the Survivor Series in Boston.
This Friday’s episode will take place from Pittsburgh and will include Kurt Angle’s birthday celebration and a match between Shotzi and Shayna Baszler.
