In an 8-K filing with the SEC, WWE announced that Erika Nardini has resigned from the company’s board of directors.

On the same day the company announced the additions of Michelle McKenna and JoEllen Lyons Dillon to the board, WWE issued a filing with the SEC and addressed Nardini’s status:

Concurrent with the election of Mses. Dillion and McKenna, Erika Ayers Nardini has resigned from the Board. With the recent acquisition of Barstool Sports by Penn Entertainment, Ms. Ayers Nardini’s time will be focused on the next chapter of this business and partnership. Ms. Ayers Nardini’s decision to resign from the Board was not due to any dispute or disagreement with the Company, its management or any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.

Nardini was named CEO of Barstool Sports in 2016 and was elected to the WWE’s board of directors two years ago.

Earlier this summer, Connor Schell also resigned from the WWE’s board of directors citing an increased workload with his other ventures.

WWE’s board of directors is chaired by Stephanie McMahon-Levesque with board members including Nick Khan, Paul Levesque, Steve Koonin, Ignace Lahoud, Steve Pamon, Man Jit Singh, Jeffrey R. Speed, and Alan Wexler along with the new additions of McKenna and Lyons Dillon.
