Post your feedback to SmackDown & Rampage.
Admittedly I haven’t watched Smackdown in a long time and relied on Post to keep me up to date. After I heard Karrion showed up last week I was curious this week. He’s got a fantastic promo and his Instagram videos have been phenomonal during his indie run. As soon as he appeared on camera I was really worried he was going to get the heavily scripted promo I’ve known to hate in the WWE. If it was scripted, he sure did a fantastic job when it came to his cadence and flow. And if it wasn’t scripted I’m really excited for what he’s got planned for the audience.
My 2nd note, it was great to see women open up each hour and real cool to see 4 recent NXT call ups (I guess Shotzki not that recent) open the show.
Rampage was fun! Thanks for the show as always John. Big up to Kate!

No one gave a fuck about Hit Row. That team is nothing without Swerve. They could have a solid tag division with a few minor moves. I would like to see Zayn and Owens put together. Maybe bring in James Storm to put with Bobby Roode. If Gargano comes back you got DIY. We could get some real bangers and a fresh division for once.
If you’re supposedly the richest man in wrestling like Ari Daivari, why would you want that garbage stable? That has to be the new worst group in AEW. Great promo from Brian & Garcia. Do you think Garcia joins BCC soon, or do they hold off on that?
Smackdown had a strong second hour:
- Gunther/Nakamura was a great main event. The IC title in one episode became even more important and it’s arguably Shinsuke’s best performance in a long, long time. It was as close to strong style Shinsuke that I’ve seen at any point of his run (and that includes his NXT stint)
- HHH’s righting of the wrongs continued as Hit Row returned. I bet Swerve Strickland is beaming with pride right now
- Drew McIntyre had a good momentum-building night and Sami’s desire to join the Bloodline intersected naturally
- The Ronda/Shayna run-in was intriguing and as it stands, I could see a feud between them down the line. Liv Morgan regained some ground. Raleigh’s far kinder than Greenville.
All i needed to see from Rampage was the Danielson/Garcia confrontation and I bet they’ll steal the show next Wednesday
Keep up the good work, John and Kate!

This was a great SmackDown. Kick ass main event. Nakamura has had a career revival. Gunther vs Cena at Mania. Please book it.

Solid night of wrestling from both WWE and AEW. I really enjoyed the Smackdown main event and Danielson’s segment on Rampage. I’m glad that Ricochet is getting more of a focus and I even think his delivery has been a bit better on the mic
One thing I’ve noticed after a few weeks of Papa H’s vision is that match finishes seems to be better thought out. Doesnt seem that the majority of matches end in the most devastating move of all of sports entertainment, the surprise roll up
And also, with the draft coming in a few weeks, after it ends, do you think they should shake up the presentation on Raw and Smackdown with new sets and new theme songs? Maybe even shake up the commentary booth too? I think that would help out too that its a new era
How would you shake this up? Because I think both teams are better than they have been in a long time. Graves & McAfee are essentially the same and shouldnt be together. Cole and Jimmy Smith need to be on separate shows. McAfee has great chemistry with Cole, so it would be dumb to split them. Which would mean Graves stays with Jimmy Smith. The only thing is adding to the SD team, which I dont think you need or replacing Saxton/making it a 2 man booth on Raw.
I’d personally leave things the way they are, but the look of the shows definitely should get a change.
