FEEDBACK: AEW Collision 1/13/24 & Battle of the Belts IX

Let us know what you thought of tonight’s extended AEW Saturday night, featuring House of Black vs FTGar(cia), the in-ring debut of Deonna Purazzo, and Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara challenging Starks and Big Bill for the AEW Tag Team titles.

Tonight had some intrigue, due to a very controversial title match. That’s right, did Preston Vance really deserve a title shot with his lack of singles matches this year? I guess one of the other title matches had some buzz too. I’m hoping this is the end of Jericho on AEW TV for the foreseeable future. If it was up to me, I don’t know if I could suspend him, but maybe keep him off TV without a suspension until a full investigation has been completed and someone talked to Kylie Rae. That would make me feel better about the situation, but I’m not sure what’s going to happen. Collision again felt like AEW Superstars, with the big stars getting wins and having one strong match in the main event. I do like what they’re doing with Adam Copeland though. It feels like it’s done to make him happy, where he gets to wrestle young talent and do what he loves best. It’s one thing I like about AEW. I hate this idea that every match has to have this dramatic story behind it, and an old veteran wanting to prove himself against the kids these days is perfect for a guy who just wants to wrestle.

Please, when you SPOIL another wrestling show, PLEASE indicate which show you are spoiling before saying it. (Jack Perry showing up at NJPW). Some of us can’t immediately jump from Collision to NJPW.
