Let us know what you thought of the first Collision of 2025!
Nothing in particular about the content of the show, but laying on the couch recovering from norovirus and seeing that I have this Canadian USA Network definitely made me pay attention to Collision as opposed to routinely missing it on the TSN App. This move to cable in Canada for Collision is an unquestionable win, because I don’t even have a top tier cable package and I get this USA Network. Good job, Collision.

You and me baby ain’t nothing but mammals, so let’s do it like they do it on the USA Network. I can’t believe that I get to watch wrestling on the same channel that my dad used to watch nature documentaries on. I’ve wanted to say that line since I heard of the network name change, but after hearing the Dynamite theme song this week, there’s a non-zero chance that becomes the song for Collision in the future. So obviously, I enjoyed the show a lot more than in recent weeks. I did see that on my channel guide that they didn’t have Collision advertised, and it was just Criminal Minds re-runs until about 8am tomorrow. I enjoyed the action tonight, but one of the matches had one of my wrestling pet peeves.
I find that any match that has a money stake is a lot less credible. It reminds me of old style southern rasslin. I assume that, as pro wrestling television stars that they make good money, so I don’t consider a significant money boost to be anything significant. I really liked the main event though. I do feel that the belts should be seperated by show, and having Collision specifically feature the Trios title would make for great future main events like the one they had tonight. I also think Copeland should win the World Title in the future, mostly because I think the Deathriders angle has worn out its welcome. I also don’t think the Cope name would be hated so much if it was just a shorthand name like Mox is to Jon Moxley. Anyway, good show tonight, now off to watch more wrestling with Wrestle Dynasty.
